It was a nice, small service officiated by a judge. It was great to catch up with Sarah's family and to meet Sarah's husband and her friends from the Peace Corps and law school.</p> <p>I stayed with another Sarah, a friend from graduate school, and she and her husband were nice enough to show me around Dallas and Fort Worth. My favorite stop was the <a href="http://www.fortwortharchitecture.com/water.htm">Fort Worth Water Gardens</a>. The bottom of the active pool was like being in the middle of a Grand Canyon waterfall.</p> <p>During the trip, I also had the best rental car experience of my life. The <a href="http://www.dfwairport.com/">Dallas Fort Worth Airport</a> has a separate terminal for rental cars. After getting off the plane, I took a shuttle to the rental car terminal and strolled up to the <a href="http://www.nationalcar.com/">National</a> booth. National has implemented a new system for Priceline members that makes it possible to check-in online. So, I was able to get a rental car without ever having to listen to a hard-sell by a rental car salesperson. The whole experience made me very appreciative of the Dallas Fort Worth Airport and National. If I could, I would ask Priceline to let me bid on just National rentals. Having all of the rental car agencies in one place was so much more convenient that waiting for a specific agency's car.
